Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence based treatment for autism spectrum disorder.
Treatment begins when one of our two local Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) comes to your home to assess your child's needs. Lighthouse Youth & Family Therapy's ABA team is comprised of locals.
We do not use tele-health at any time for ABA.
Our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) will come to your home to work with
you and your child on the plan written specifically for them. Our Center is now also open!
ABA therapy applies our understanding of how behavior works to real situations. The goal is to increase behaviors that are helpful and decrease behaviors that are harmful or affecting learning. We believe helping a child requires family involvement. Helping children with autism to have lasting success requires training and supporting the family. Family members and caregivers receive training so skill practice and learning can continue throughout many different areas of the child’s life.
